Oil rings control the consumption of lubricating oil by moderately scraping it from cylinder. TPR has recently been providing optimum products to meet need such as low friction and narrower ring width, resulting in engines with higher fuel efficiency.
Reducing friction for greater engine performance and higher fuel efficiency.
Developing engines with greater fuel efficiency requires improvement in motion efficiency. Pistons rings, located between the piston and the cylinder, support the up and down motion of the pistons the heart of engine. TPR is pursuing optimum material and surface treatment to develop piston rings that oscillate with less friction, even under high temperatures.
